EPMG Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

Commemorate their past, support their future

September 15th marks the start of Hispanic Heritage month, a celebration honoring the culture and traditions of Hispanic Americans. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the estimated Hispanic population of the United States reached 44.3 million as of July 1, 2006, making people of Hispanic origin the nation’s largest ethnic minority. Now more than ever, it is crucial for corporate America to recognize this growing demographic.

“At EPMG we look forward to helping advertisers participate in this exciting celebration,” said Trevor Hansen, president, EPMG.  “We’ve made it easy by developing a turnkey newspaper outreach program offering clients and advertisers the opportunity to deliver their message directly to el corazón de la comunidad – the heart of the community.”

Hispanic newspapers provide a platform for campaign success. 66 percent of Hispanic newspaper readers view their local newspaper as their only or primary news source.

The program includes a full page, full color advertisement prominently featured in each publication’s dedicated Hispanic heritage section. Participating publications include 52 Hispanic newspapers in the top 20 Hispanic DMAs, with a reach of more than 10 million.
