Profile of EPMG Media Planner Danielle Jake
How long have you been at EPMG? I have been with Ethnic Print Media Group for 8 ½ months.
What accounts do you work on? I handle most African-American print campaigns. Some of my major accounts include Amtrak, Wal-Mart (AA), HUD and US Cellular. I also oversee African American FSI campaigns for our media partner, Valassis.
What are you passionate about most about your job? I am passionate about advertising in general; especially as it relates to the African American market. I think when advertisers realize that they can not speak to the Ethnic market in the same fashion as the general market they are not just better off…they thrive. What drew me to this company is not only their huge footprint in the marketplace, but also their heart for the people and markets that they serve.
What goals do you look to accomplish in the next year? I am looking forward to growing the African American division by 200% in 2007 and continuing new business development through 2008. I also want every customer that I touch this year to know that I truly care about the success of their business and that I look forward to working with them everyday!
What are three of your favorite hobbies? Ever since I was a young girl, I loved racehorses. They are such beautiful animals. I love to spend a Saturday at the races. I love going to my boxing class after work. I fancy myself a young Muhammad AliJ. I like to cook for my husband and son. I look forward to trying new things!
