EPMG Celebrates Cinco de Mayo
Cinco de Mayo is an important day in Mexican history, marking the victory of the Mexican army over the French on May 5, 1862. Initially observed by Mexicans to celebrate freedom, the holiday has become increasingly popular among Americans, focusing on the culture, food, music and traditions of the Mexican community. For many Mexican Americans, Cinco de Mayo is an opportunity to show their pride and celebrate the blending of their Mexican and American roots.
To help clients take advantage of this occasion, EPMG has developed a grassroots Hispanic newspaper outreach program to tap directly into the Latino market. The program provides a culturally relevant platform to speak to an audience with substantial buying power.
Program details include one full-page, four-color advertisement placed in more than 70 Hispanic publications in the top 20 Hispanic DMAs. Markets include New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Dallas, Washington DC, Houston, Phoenix, Sacramento, Miami, Orlando, San Diego, San Antonio, Fresno, Albuquerque, Harlingen-McAllen, and El Paso. Advertisements will run the week prior to Cinco de Mayo, reaching more than nine million readers.
